It's been awhile since I've updated this
I guess it has been a very long time since this was updated. Don't know where the time has gone, although it seems as if it's been ages since Europe. Well, I hurt my wrist, so I'll just say a bit. School is almost over, 8 school days left, then graduation is the 27th, excited. Happy I'm guaranteed housing next year for UA, but I still don't know what my assignment is. I wish I knew if I got the dorm I wanted or not, hopefully. I'm pretty much one AP test away from being done with doing anything big in my classes. AP Bio I have no clue what we'll be doing, I guess we have to do our final in pre-cal, AP English we're just reading a play. AP Gov we're going to be working on our videos for our interest group. Orchestra, concert Tuesday, then nothing more on that. Though I guess we'll still practice for graduation, but I don't have to play Pomp and Circumstance this year, YAY! Oh, and great news!! My English teacher, Ms. Aikman, she's getting married, in October. Abby talked her into letting us, meaning the orchestra kids in her class, Janelle, Abby, Rebbecca and myself, along with Donald, although he doesn't have her, to audition to play at her wedding. We got it! So in October I have to come back up to play for her wedding on the 4th. I'm so happy, because I get to play for something, and also because I get to see those guys again, since I don't think I'll be seeing them after school is over. Well, that's enough for now.

I think Europe was the fresh breathe I needed
Alright, well I've been back from Europe for exactly a week now. I was so happy to get home last Monday. Then by Tuesday afternoon I was ready to go back. My family is so annoying to deal with. Oh well....I guess.

But I think going to Europe was just the thing I needed. I feel like I've been a lot better off since then. The seniors are now starting to include me in things, I guess I'm going to do a quartet with three violins and two cellos for orchestra, just the seniors. I think Latham is going to let us play Disarm. And I guess we're good enough friends now that they keep bugging me about not wanting to go to prom. If they get a bounce house then I might consider going, but I dunno...if I were to go, I'd go with Maggie, since it's way cheaper to split a couples ticket than to buy singles tickets. But I'm freaking about school this quarter. We have an 8-9 page research paper for AP English, and I didn't do all to well on the last one, and it was a lot shorter. And I'm so messed up in AP Bio right now, being gone for two days really lost me. Since I was unable to get onto a computer in Europe, let alone use my Bio disc, I didn't do the practice essay, since there was no time between when I got home on Monday and Tuesday. And we were supposed to do these big group review projects, but go figure I was the only person in 1st hour who was going, so she told me to get together with some of the girls who were going that were in 2nd hour. That didn't work too well. So now I don't have that, so I'm pretty sure I should be failing right now. But I'm going to work my butt off now. Last quarter of senior year is NOT the one to fail. I've worked way too hard all these years. Of course, if I were to fail the class it wouldn't matter. I need three science credits to graduate, at the end of the year I'm going to have five, since I'm doing Chem this year too.

Then there's Lynn, who I'm majorly pissed at right now. She doesn't know it, and I won't tell her. She keeps pushing for chair placement testing again in orchestra, such a bitch. Three seniors in front of her, she wants to get ahead of all of us. It's crap. The last quarter of our senior year, we're all in AP English, so we all have that huge paper to do, plus we all have AP Gov, and I have AP Bio, and AP tests are coming up in about 5 weeks. Then Abby and I are doing the pit for Annie, and that's 30 songs we have to learn in three weeks for that. We practiced yesterday the first fifteen, the keys are murder. I hate flats. But yeah, so much going on, we don't have time to practice. She does of course, she always has time to do whatever. Honestly, she's guaranteed concert master next year, once the seniors are gone, she's the one decent violin player left.

I really need to finish my math homework now, and try to get most of my research done for English, so I'll be done for now. Maybe I'll try to get some pics from Europe up. Got some great ones.

52 hours
Only about 52 hours until I get on the plane to go to Europe!! That's all I can think about anymore!! I'm so excited, so very very very excited!!!!

And I also got my acceptance letter finally to U of A. I knew I was going to get it, but I'm happy it's true now. They're giving me 3k a year for school, which will help some. I hope I get a dorm, I applied after the date for a guaranteed room, but I didn't get the letter until after then.

School is killing me lately. Amazing, week before spring break teachers want to kick our butts with loads of homework. I have two big papers due, three major tests, and have to write a paper in AP English.

Nana- Nana rocks, Hachi pisses me off
Right. So right now, and all of today, I've been watching the anime series Nana. It has got to be one of the best I've ever had. I am literally tearing up here, on the brink of crying. So emotionally crazy. But it's so awesome! I'm hoping I can finish it tomorrow, since I have tomorrow off of school too.

Went to lunch with Maggie today. It was pretty fun I guess. We talked a lot, and I mean a lot. But we don't get to talk that much at school. So many random things were said, we laughed. etc.

Only about 2 weeks until I'm off to Europe. Really excited. Tomorrow is going to have to be work first, fun later. I have tons of homework. Need to read and log a huge book within the next two weeks. I also have a research paper due in a week, and government thesis due in two. And I have other gov hw as well. But now I need to get back to watching Nana.

Well, at least Thursday 6th hour was good.
Right, so, oddly enough, I'm in a rather decent mood. I guess I'm still on my happy high from Thursday. Finally did the challenge against Rebbecca. Guess who won? That would be me! Yes, no longer am I behind her, forced to let an inferior player be ahead of me! I am now second chair! I mean, she wasn't too bad. Between her, Lynn, and me, we're about even in playing skills. But my technique is better than hers, since that's what I work on in my lessons so often. BUt I can't believe how easy it was. I thought the song would be easy, in such a simple key. But she kept playing F sharps, even though it was in C major. Her piece for me to play was pretty easy. It was in b flat, 3/8 time. I think I sped a bit on it, but that didn't matter. And now, well next week really, I'm going to challenged Abby. I am sick of letting a truly inferior player be ahead of me, and be concert master! Never! I already have my song, and I have concert master in the bag. It consists of shifting while playing, from third to first to fifth and back to third. She can't shift at all. Before she ever plays something, she has finger up all the way from first position. On this particular piece (that I'm going to challenge her with) I can tune by ear the first note. I don't know what the deal it, with lower positions I have trouble having perfect tuning, but for some reason the really high notes in high position, I can get those in tune by ear. And, luckily, Lynn is going to be challenging Rebbecca. So I don't have to worry about her challenging me back. Lynn has my back, we've made a pact. She's a junior, so when I get concert master and if she makes it up to second chair, she's not going to challenge me for concert master, since it's my senior year. But she's a shoe in next year for concert master. There is no competition for it, the only other junior playing violin is George, and he's not all to good at it.

But, speaking of George, funny story about that. I don't think anyone from school knows I have this blog, so I'll just post it here. So, awhile ago I was talking to Lynn during sectional practices, and we were practicing by ourselves. So she told me who the guy was she actually liked and everything, and then, for some odd reason, I told her, despite my gut feeling, that I like George. I guess she's pretty trustworthy, hasn't told anyone yet. Of course, if she would I could just out her guy, though I wouldn't do that. Anyway, Thursday being Valentine's Day, everyone was getting balloons, and giant stuffed animals and chocolate, all the good stuff. So, when orchestra came around George pointed out that him and I were the only two first violins who didn't get anything. I just thought that...for a lack of better words, strange.

Speaking of strange, I had Chinese yesterday, and I freaked when I saw the fortune. I have never actually gotten a fortune that was as accurate as this one. It said 'You will soon be taking a pleasant and successful trip' Now, that is so freaky!! Because in less than a month, I'm going to be going on my trip to Europe! It was like, fate. Seriously.

Right. So, I've been overly obsessed with J-music lately. My big one if AKFG, or Asian Kung Fu Generation, which is a really good band, and YELLow Generation is a really good group too, but sadly they've broken up, so there are no new songs from them. Then of course, there's Puffy, or Puffy Ami Yumi, whichever you call them. Everyone should know them. I love the lyrics though for everything, they're so great. Not like most crap American musics. Yes, American music, or most of it that is coming out these days, is complete crap.

It's getting late here. I think I'll just listen to Tobira no Mukou e right quick, then get to bed. Though another quick note. I sparred last night at karate, the first time in forever. I went up against Monisa for the first time. She's really good, gave me some really good pointers too. Okay, NOW I'm done. I think...

Pika pika, pikachu
I'm so blah right now. Like, I'm bored, so I'm watching CNN, seeing how Super Tuesday is doing. I'm kind of pissed I didn't register earlier enough to be able to vote today, it looks as if Obama needs some help here. It's all those damn old people. Honestly, it's not like they're the ones who have to be affected by the president the next four years. They'll probably be dead soon enough, and I don't want Clinton to be in office because of them. Ugh.

So I'm like watching, or more like listening, to the pokemon butterfly remix, I don't know why I keep listening to it, but it's so bloody addictive. I should be doing homework, need to do math still, and I should probably study for my retest in AP Bio tomorrow, but I'll do that in the morning. Right now I want to do not challenging stuff, or whatever.

But, speaking of challenge, by I challenged Rebbecca for her chair in orchestra. But it's a bit easier now for me to be concert master. See, Nate, who was second chair, today was his last day. So, that means she moves up to second chair, and I move up to third. If I beat her, and I really need to, then I'll be second. And Abby is going to be easy. I'm just going to challenge her with the third etude for regionals. I know what she can't do, and she can't play well that high, and she can't shift at all. Once I get past Rebbecca , then first chair is mine. I'll be able to have some accomplishment in my high school career.

Oh wow, Hillary had a real nice little fake sad moment. All happy, then she gets all sad and serious, talking about how some tornados hit in Arkansas and Tennessee. Then a moment later all happy again. Really nice Hillary, just like your cute little fake cry when you lost the Iowa caucus.

Only 36 days until I'm on my way to Europe!!! I'm so excited. Yeah, it's over a month away, but still. I can't hold in my excitement!!!

Um...I don't think I've done anything on here in awhile. And there's been lots of stuff, though nothing super important. But yeah. I finished watching Eureka 7, it was a good anime. And...I get to go to the Renaissance festival, I think next Saturday. Sadly, I have no money to actually spend there, since I can't waste anything so I have spending money for Europe. And, uh...yeah...llamas...PIKACHU!

Alright, I'm blanking. I'm done now. Bye bye.

P.S. I finally remembered to Google how to make rice balls. I want to do that a some time.

o.o
So, I'm bored. So bored I just watched a few episodes of Chobits again. And I watched the OVA at the end of the series, though it was pretty pointless. I wish there was more to Chobits, it's a great anime. And before that I watched the first episode of Eureka 7, but I couldn't find the 2nd episode. I'll look for it tomorrow, since I have school off. But tomorrow I need to do my homework too, because I didn't follow what I said and so no homework got done. And regional auditions are next Saturday, so I need to get some serious practice for them.

I'm getting pretty pissed with politics. Clinton won yet again in Nevada. Damn it, she pisses me off. If (and hopefully not) she wins as the Democratic candidate, I'll be in a bit of a dilemma. I really don't like her, so I don't know if I'd vote for her even then. But I wouldn't go for a Republican. Eh, whatever. Just need positive thinking- Obama is going to take it.

I'm getting so excited. Yeah, Europe is still months away, but I can't help it! Once I got my passport, I was just getting so hyped up. I have everything now, with the exception of enough spending money. But if my mother ever pays me back, and with the money my grandparents are giving me, I should have enough.

I got my hair done. It looks really nice, though to the fact it's on my it takes away some of the appeal of it. But it's really cute, I have a tea weave of lighter brown and reddish highlights, and then she really thinned it out and layered it. If I ever allowed pictures to be taken of me I'd show, but I don't, so yeah.
